A cluster of 12 blossoms – द्वादशमञ्जरिका (Dwadasha Manjarika)

I am going to be writing a series of blog-posts on Adi Sankara’s “Moha Mudagara” on my blog: https://thecuratedlifeblog.wordpress.com/ more popularly known (thanks to MS Subbulakshmi) as “Bhaja Govindam”. Also known as “Dwadasha-manjarika” this poem is suffused with the highest flights of Advaita philosophy squeezed into just 12 primary verses (with an additional 14 verses as an appendix written by his disciples). This is my first attempt at writing about a sanskrit work and comes in the midst of me following one of my passions in life – learning Veda chanting and sanskrit… Bouquets, Brickbats, Criticism, and Praise shall be received with equanimity in keeping with the spirit of the poetic-philosophy of this poem.
